Skyfort: Charming, Elegant, Yet Functional Design by Olga Kulikovskaia

Are you looking for inspiration for your home decor needs?

Look no further, because renowned interior designer Olga Kulikovskaia – a graduate of Moscow’s Details school of design – is here to help! Her designs have graced AD, Elle Decor, and Instyle, and it’s no surprise, because her discerning eye has created countless warm, inviting, and captivating homes.

Skyfort (as shown in the pictures below), Kulikovskaia’s United Kingdom luxury home, exemplifies her style – a pleasant meld of the classic and modern, with a fine eye for detail and functionality.

Ornate mirrors peek from corners; chandeliers dangle delicately from ceilings; intricate carvings adorn wood tables. Delightful surprises await – from the soft red cushions of the library chairs, the purple flowers in an otherwise muted bathroom, and the yellow lamp in the child’s bedroom. A marble fireplace, floral walls, and mosaic tile also add texture to the design.

Instead of the more traditional furniture that decorates the rest of the house, the child’s room contains a sleek white chair, a geometric rug, and cube-shaped bookshelves.

For example, while the color scheme remains mainly the same (a subtle mix of blue, grey, and gold) throughout, varieties in color emphasis create different atmospheres for each room.

For the living room, the emphasis on gold creates a stately atmosphere; for the library, the emphasis on blue induces relaxation; for the master’s bedroom, the white, soft brown, and gold color scheme creates a warm and inviting atmosphere; for the dining and kitchen areas, the shift to a more metallic grey-blue color scheme creates a modern feel; for the child’s bedroom, the mix of white, blue, and yellow emanates a lively and energetic space, and for the bathroom design you can check it below…

Kulikovskaia not only ensures that her designs are aesthetically pleasing, but also tailors every project to her client’s wishes. If you’re looking for a professional interior designer – or just for inspiration in general – check out Skyfort. You won’t regret it!
